Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ConnectQuest. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service. These Terms govern your use of the ConnectQuest application.

The ConnectQuest Service

ConnectQuest is a signaling service designed to facilitate a direct, encrypted, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connection using WebRTC technology for streaming video and audio between your devices (e.g., Meta Quest headset and a computer).

  • P2P Communication: Once connected, the video and audio data flows directly between the two paired devices. We do not store, view, or intercept the content of your streams.
  • Service Availability: We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation of the service. Connectivity and stream quality are heavily dependent on your network conditions and internet service provider.

User Obligations and Conduct

You agree not to use ConnectQuest to stream or transmit any content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
  • Infringes on any intellectual property rights of others.
  • Is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or libelous.
  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

You are solely responsible for all content you stream through the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the service's reliability, performance, or availability. Use of the service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ConnectQuest or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the service.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
